I'd avoided buying any of the remasters, thinking "I already have the old cd, and vinyl, plus Dave will only get 10 cents and mike will get 40", but I ventured out yesterday and picked up Fair Warning. It's my fav., and was only $10, compared to $17 for VHI and 1984.
It's deffinetely a better listening experience. The bass guitar is much more audible and clear. That was the biggest difference. Other than that, just better overall sound. More pristine CVH.
I'd reccomend it to anyone who is hesitant on picking up the remasters.
