Not a big deal really...

avenged his split decision loss from 6 months ago to win the light heavy title back...

next on his agenda?

Johnson...unless he can goad Roy Jones Jr. out of retirement...

Jones Jr. worked the fight as a commentator...and had no comment on it...although Jones is thinking about coming back to fight Bernard Hopkins next year...

Jones is also rumored to be looking to avenge his only true losses to Johnson and Tarver...so it may be happening...

a small footnote in the boxing world...but interesting nonetheless...

You could've turned this thing on in the 7th round and not missed a thing....

Good second half of the fight though...

Roy is one boring-ass commentator....

Johnson fought nothing like he did in their first fight, or against Jones. Tarver easily piled up the rounds in this one.

They accused of Tarver basking in the glow of his Jones knockout when he lost to Johsnon the first time, but I think Johnson was the one out of shape and out of gas due to his celebrating Fighter of the Year status in 2004.

If Jones doesn't comeout to fight Hopkins, he should just stay home.
