I remember some people posted a video documentary clip questioning the authenticity of a plane having hit the Pentagon and the minimal damage that occurred, but that clip seemed really overdone and played up.

This is more believable. Go to this site and stick around for awhile. It is very interesting, There are lots of clips regarding this issue.

"911 in Plane Site" is a great video. They present much of their evidence not with "conspiracy theories", but with the actual live news footage shot on the scenes of WTC and the Pentagon itself. Footage that was never shown again after 9-11-01 because it contradicts the "official story" that had already been packaged by the BCE, and pushed by the media whose own footage said otherwise.

I can say, though, that I have friends that actually saw the plane hit the Pentagon, so I am doubtful that it was a missile or a small plane. They all said it looked like an airliner. One thiing is for sure though, whoever was flying that plane must have REALLY known what he was doing.

There is definitely more going on here then we realize, I would say.

It doesn't neccessarily have to be a USAF plane. The eyewitness from FAUX News said it looked like a cargo plane from his perspective (on the ground below the WTC)

Certainly it would be possible for someone to buy a Boeing plane designed for cargo and to modify it with the "extra options" underneath. It wouldn't have to match the Air Force model, or any KNOWN military aircraft, for that matter, if the entire idea was to sell the crash to the public as that of a commercial airliner.
