Jon Carin and Tim Renwick will join Pink Floyd and Roger Waters on stage at Live 8. It has not been confirmed if anyone else will be participating. Due to the huge demand for tickets the organizers have decided to erect large screens and sound systems around Hyde Park so those without tickets can enjoy the concert. These screens will be outside the fenced area of the concert. The demand for hotels is overwhelming as fans from all over the world scramble to find a place to stay.

Breathe, Wish You Were Here, Comfortably Numb. These are the songs that are being rehearsed and will be played at Live 8. Any other additions will be announced as we confirm them.

Ah, they are 3 of my favourites, as well.

I wonder if they will have the huge mirrorball during comfortably Numb.

Wonder if Waters and Gilmour are ready to kill each other yet.

I wonder how long thier entire set will be?

Hopefully Geldof and his loser band will give up their stage time so that Floyd can play longer.

To be honest, I'd rather it was just Floyd playing all day.

Hell, FLOYD is one of the only exciting things in the entire pathetic festival.

If it's anything like the original LIVE AID...the best bands weren't announced untill they jumped on stage.

We can only hope & pray that a 'lil 'ol band from PASADENA gets it together........................

I highly doubt The Pasadenas will do Live 8, Matt.

"I believe in miracles, don't you?"

What? You mean no "Division Bell" in the set list?

I hope the Pink Floyd performance leads to more....i.e. a states tour. That may be wishful thinking, though. Kinda like a VH reunion....
