I'm wondering why these albums should become remastered ... they are sounding great, rough, direct and musically brilliant

Remastering is overrated...

not likely. wouldn't be too much mainstream interest in it.
if warner brothers thought solo dave would sell now, they wouldn't have discontinued ALAE.
money-wise, it's not likely to be worth their while to remaster the albums.
unless dave becomes really big, commercially, again. and as much as i love solo dave, that's not likley to happen as a solo artist.

thats right ... I bought all six albums remastered from amazon and gave them back because they weren't better than the originals even badder. The old analog background noise was louder, sounded very bad.

I don't think they would sell enough copies and I don't think the demand is there as the Classic VH albums.

DLR's best of CD is the remastered copy for his solo career!

The demand is definitely not there commercially.
The only one that might have a chance in hell would be EEAS, at this point.
Sad to say, but Dave's solo work has a stronger chance of appearing in a bargain bin than a list of remastered releases.
