MOTOWN, HITSVILLE USA, THE SOUND OF YOUNG AMERICA, whatever you wanna call it, you know you love it, great feelgood music, a lot like Dave's in that respect.

There is NOTHING like a drunken MOTOWN singalong, because EVERYBODY knows the songs: Dancing In The Street, My Girl, Get Ready, I Want You Back, Tears Of A Clown, What's Goin' On?, Reach Out (I'll Be There), Baby Love, Stop! In The Name Of Love, This Old Heart Of Mine, It Takes Two, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted?, War...need I go on?

What is your top 10?

1. Ain't Too Proud To Beg (Temptin'-Tune-Tations)
2. Same Old Song (Four Tops)
3. How Sweet It Is (Jr Walker & The All Stars)
4. You Can't Hurry Love (Supremes)
5. Uptight (Little Stevie Wonder)
6. The Love You Save (Jackson 5)
7. The Tracks of my Tears (Smokey Robinson & The Miracles)
8. Shotgun (Jr Walker & The All Stars)
9. Ain't No Mountain High Enough (Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell)
10. Heatwave (Martha & The Vandellas)

They are ALL classics.

Fuck it, I'm going to watch MOTOWN 25.

"I can turn the grey skies blue
I can make it rain whenever I want ti to
Oh, I can build a castle from a single grain of sand
And I can make the ships sail on dry land
But, my life is incomplete and I'm so blue
Cos I can't get next to you (Can't get next to you, girl, get get next to you)"
