Ok we had in 1996 Kiss and Black Sabbath, then in 1999 it was Iron Maiden, last year we had Judas Priest, now Pink Floyd....

The only 2wo that have yet to do any kind of reunion thang are Led Zep & Van Halen....

I'm assuming you're not considering The Police as ultra-huge....

I'd love to see a Police reunion....

And they were huge enough to sell out stadiums back in the day...

It could never be the Who without Keith Moon.
It could never be Led Zeppelin without John Bonham.

It could never be the Police without Stew Copeland on drums and Andy Summers on the guitar, as it could be heard yesterday in London. I wonder whether that guitarist had ever listened to the Police sound and Summer's parts... How to waste "Message in a bottle" and "Driven to tears" in 10 minutes...

Page&Plant was all right, surely better than "Led Zeppelin" minus Bonham and Jones...

The Who weren't good yesterday IMO. I videotaped the re-play of "Who are you" and "Won't get fooled again", and I think both Townshend and Daltrey were "off beam", and maybe their bandmates were better; it hurts to say so because I'm a big Who fan.

I guess we all thought Waters back in the Floyd, even for a few songs, was less likely than DLR back in VH. Yet I am not more optimistic concerning a CVH reunion now.
I'm afraid it's a dead end, because there is more bad stubbornness in the sisters's heads than in a coach full of old virgin ladies...:D:(

What about G N'R, i think that would be pretty huge reunion.

Hey Jerome My problem is and this MAY be yours we Expect the WHO
to be as good as they were when they were 30 years younger
maybe we should appreciate that they are still playing but after
two very intense WHO songs pete was tired.
That alone in my opinion is why CVH doesnt have much of a window
left.
Im not trying to be snotty they are in their 60's
I was a bad sumbich in my 20's now Im just semi BAD !!YEAH!!

I have to agree with you about the Who doing what they still can.
After all, this is all we can get TODAY.
But I'd rather have a bit of "semi-fit" Who than a whole barrel of the bunch of fags that were on stage before them in Hyde Park. I guess we'll all agree on this.:)

No way. I may have enjoyed their stuff with Paul Rodgers a lot, but that wasn't Queen. No Deacon, and most of all no Mercury: there can never be any more so-called Queen reunion. The band died with Freddie. It's been much discussed here a few months ago.

Would you call it Van Halen without Dave and Mike Anthony?
Has it been Van Halen for the past 20 years?

It was a major letdown to see Sting in London doing a set of all Police songs without Stewart & Andy. I was hoping they would show up for this, unannounced like they did the last show of the Amnesty International tour in 86.
