Halladay is out for a month. That'll probably ruin his chances. Do you guys think Mariano Rivera should covet consideration? His ERA is mind numbing and his innings pitched versus hits and walks is outstanding.

These are the the top 5 (not in any order) IMO.

W L ERA
R. Halladay TOR 12 4 2.41
J. Santana MIN 7 5 3.98
J. Garland CWS 13 4 3.38
M. Buehrle CWS 10 2 2.58
M. Rivera NYY 4-2 1.07

Halladay can still come back and win 20...if he does that in the same fashion that he did winning the first half...he'll still be a top 3...

No doubt that Rivera RIGHT NOW...is probably 1...or maybe 1a...

I think Garland and Buerhle will garner the consideration since they have the best record in baseball because of their pitching...

probably Garland right now...but Buerhle's record AND ERA would probably put him in the starter lead...

unfortunate for Halladay...really...he really stepped up this year after missing most of last...

Garland or Buerhle. They can and will push and motivate each other, especially if Chicago stays in the race in any way.

Hows the WS bullpen ?
