Ashton Kutcher has made a mountain of money secretly filming his fellow celebrities getting "Punk'd," but he's apparently less than thrilled to have the camera pointed in his direction. The prank-loving actor was snapped Saturday night as he confronted some prying paparazzi, reports Extra.
Kutcher allegedly approached a pair of shutterbugs staking out his Los Angeles-area home, reaching into their car and ripping the shirt of one lensman as the other captured the moment for posterity.
(Surprisingly, Demi Moore's dewier, doofier half looks like his usual photogenic self in the images, although the doo-rag on his melon isn't doing him any favors.)
The photographers claim Kutcher joked that he was "crazy" before issuing a mea culpa for the raiment rending. The apology must have been sincere: The paparazzo who lost his shirt tells Extra he has no plans to sue.
Ashton's rep didn't respond to our request for comment.
Extra speculates that the actor's defensive stance may be tied to those pesky pregnancy rumors, which Dashmi have repeatedly denied. You'll recall that Seal and Chris Martin have both reacted angrily when photographers got too close to their expectant partners (Heidi Klum and Gwyneth Paltrow, respectively). Demi, however, did not appear to be nearby when the purported tussle took place.
Either way, Kutcher is just the latest celebrity to take on the paparazzi, joining the likes of soda-tossing Britney Spears, finger-pointing Nicole Kidman, camera-grabbing Cameron Diaz and table-turners Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner, who have taken to carrying cameras of their own.
