I would have to say EVH. Zakk and ozzy could occasionally sober up for an studio session. EVH is usually plastered 24/7, and usually needs a few before he can even start playing, and was known to lock himself in a room for days at a time, whenever his benders got the best of him.

I'd say Ozzy (before he actually sobered up -- or has he??)

If anyone remembers his 1991 video documentary Dont Blame Me, you right away get a good look on how fucked up Ozzy is/was on booze.

Constantly drinking in the studio, drinking on tour, of course.

Funny story how Metallica were opening for Oz on his '86 tour when Ozzy pissed his pants in an elevator.

Our very own Eddie VH is up there too.

Word has it that often during recording an album, Ed would have about 12 beers in him a day, or more.

Crazy.

I remember an old 1982 interview with Ed and Val from Entertainment Tonight and there Ed was, holding a beer mug.

Can't forget Ace Frehely here...

I've heard some fuckin' hilarious drunken stories starring this fella.

I always thought Slash exagerated for effect.

I don't think he drank a quarter of what he claimed to.

If you've ever read the Jim Morisson/Doors bio, No One Here Gets Out Alive, you'd have to say Jim Morrison. That guy was just drunk all the time.

That's a heavyweight list, with one surviving member.

I'd have to say that Alice's drinking days were as bad as anyone's.....objective sources have cuntfirmed this.

If you look at old footage, he was the consumate, functioning alcoholic. He hit his marks and just thrived...drinking from sunup to guillotine down.

I don't think Alices drinking days were 'bad'.

He remained a good guy while he was drunk, had fun and got away with it...:)

The guitarist I was writing and recording with 2 years ago was amazing, but he couldn't play sober. Ed became that way, and then went a step further.

Now he can't plat sober or drunk.
