Let me give a short lesson on the harder ones...

Plus/Minus; You get a +1 if you're on the ice when a goal is scored for your team, and a -1 if the other team scores when you're on the ice... They're totaled up for each player after each game...

Shots on Goal; These are determined by the official scorer at the rink, pretty much a scoring chance, either for a shooter or for a goalie...

Goaltending: Goals-Against Average, Save Percentage - These are the two big goalie categories.... The GAA is the percentage of goals that the goalies allow per game.... The Save % is the percentage of saves versus the amount of shots....

I'm assuming you know what a powerplay is and what being shorthanded is...

My opinion on the settings...


Draft Type: Autopick Draft - Too much of a pain for a live draft, gonna be too painful listening to Poj during the football draft.... ;)

Max Teams: 10 (like I said, looks like we can get 8-10)

Scoring Type: Rotisserie (prefer this, which continuously totals for the entire year, rather than weekly)

Max Moves: No maximum (not a big deal in Roto)

Max Trades: No maximum (not a big deal in Roto)

Trade Reject Time: 1 day (that should be fine)

Trade End Date: March 9, 2006 (about a month before the season ends)

Waiver Time: 2 days (gives most people enough time to see that the player is on waivers)

Can't Cut List Provider: None (we can change this if need be, it prevents teams from mailing it in)

Trade Review: League Votes (rather than a Commish review)

Max Games Played: 82 (1 game per position per night)

Start Scoring on: Wednesday, Oct 5 (opening night - and Mario's 40th B-day :D look for a Hat Trick)

Weekly Deadline: Daily - Tomorrow (for roster changes)

Take a look at these, let us know any opinions on it, and if need be, we can change it up before I change the status to draft ready.... I don't forsee making it "draft ready", in which the autodraft will take place in 1-3 days afterwards, anytime until late September.... This will give time for the autodraft to take place, a couple days waiver respite, then a few days of Free Agency to manipulate your rosters before the season starts on Oct. 5th....

My first thoughts are to agree, but what if you are a goalie on a "run-and-gun" team. Then your GAA is sure to suck, but you may have alot of saves

As a reminder, this will be an "auto" draft, so if you don't like how the computer has the players ranked, you will need to rank them yourselves....

This will give time to check for any players that may have been injured during the preseason games... It will also give between 7-10 days for everyone to adjust their rosters before Opening Night on Oct. 5th...

Well, you do have three grate goalies...especially Brodeur...so you shouldn't have to worry about them a bit...

Your defensemen look good too...Pronger being a top5 defenseman of the last decade...

Right wings...let Alfredsson and Jagr play all the games, from Satan, Bondra, Bertuzzi it is a bit hard to say who will provide the most points...Bondra being on the end side of his career...

Left wings...good players but no superstars really there...if you go trading, try to add one top scorer there...

Centers...Demitra should score a lot of points but the second center place needs rotation...Weight is grate but doesn't have that much help in St. Louis this season...

You do have a very good team...

If the Pens D-men don't start playing worth their paychecks, my plus/minus is going to suck balls all year, with me having both Lemieux and Crosby....

I've also got a couple of good players recovering from injury/illness, Hejduk and Elias....

You're already in the league for your team, so you don't have to signup like that anymore...

Just log into Yahoo, and you should see your team and the league name on your front page....
