Which do you prefer-just out of interest-from these 3 debuts with an obvious common link...

Appetite For Destruction-Guns 'N' Roses
Core-Stone Temple Pilots
Contraband-Velvet Revolver

Appetite, Don't Get me wrong I like STp and VR, But Appetite is just aweosme from start to finish. My Michelle has one of the wierdest lryical begining I have ever heard, "Your Daady Works In Porno, not hat mommys not around, she used to love here heroine but now shes on the ground.". A personal Favorite of mine.

I'd probably still go with "Appetite" anyway, but you left one out of the poll....

Neurotic Outsiders was the first "fuck you AxHole we'll do it ourselves" band, with Duff & Matt teaming up with Steve Jones of the Sex Pistols (who himself was named as a GnR guitarist for a while, at least theoretically) and John Taylor of Duran Duran, oddly enough.

Others were involved with the group to some extent, including Slash & Izzy, and guest vocalists included Billy Idol & Ian Astbury, but it was just the 4 of them by the time the tapes rolled in the studio.

I actually like this album better than Contraband, and wish this lineup had stuck around a while longer. Unfortunately it fell victim to reunions. First the Sex Pistols in 1996, then the 1999 Duran Duran reunion which somehow took 5 years to make a record.

I voted Contraband, because I hate Axl Rose as much as I hate Hagar.

Almost everyone is going to say Appetite, cause it's a classic. Every song on it is ace and will continue to be, throughout time.

I don't get what good people see in VR. All I see is dissapointment, much like audioslave. I liked all the orginal bands, and it seems like a sure fire win. Alas they lost the magic the original bands had.

You have to listen to it a good few times. I've said it many times, I only thought it was average when I first heard it, but here I am a year later and I'm loving it.

I'd have to go With Core.

Core is a awesoem fucking albulm from begginging to end, Sex type thing, Dead and bloated, Creep, Wicked Garden, an awesome fucking record from begining to end.

Now appeitite and contraband are awesome albulms...but truth be told,t here are a few skip worthy tracks on both of 'em.

Was never a big STP fan, but then again, I'd prefer it anyday compared to Axl's voice, lyrics and onstage presence. I, for the record, never liked him and ALWAYS felt that he was draggin' the rest of the band down. Just don't like his style in general, and would've preferred A4D with Weiland on vox and lyrics...that woulda made A4D a truly kickass album......

Appetite by far, just a great album start to finish. Several tracks that just pop, when you hear the first seconds of Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child, Brownstone, you just know them, great music. Core is really good, one of my personal favs. Contraband isn't bad, just not very exciting IMO.

CORE. STP is one of the greatest bands in rock history. And CORE is my least-favorite they did, but still the best of the three.

And what would you call that? "Guns N Cheeses"??

Actually, "Little White Lie" was a decent song. The last decent thing Hagar ever did, actually. And it's because he was pissed off. That's something he never figured out in his "peace, cheese, and keyboards" world with Eddie.

That and the little inuendo's in his video's were priceless.

The monkey wearing shades, smoking and playing guitar...

Van halen members under "Lie", and sammy with his mouth zipped for "Truth"

And the fact that there was an eddie van halen look a like taking a lie detector test.

That's funny shit.

Appetite For Destruction will always be one of the best Hard rock albums out there....Core Is not a bad album but really no big deal. Contraband to me is the NEW Guns for this generation. I'm going to go vote for appetite....right....now.
