There are several that sound similar to CVH, but whenever I hear "Hina" from Skyscraper, I always think it sounds the most like CVH.

yes...also "bottom line" from skyscraper, "showtime" from ALAE which sounds a "bit" like "hot for teacher"...the whole EEAS album could have been the 7th son of the mighty VH, except for the bass tracks that the bass player never could have played...

I thought Yankee Rose sounded a like like panama.

Seriously, if you slowed down the tempo to panama, and had dave singing the lyrics to Yankee Rose, I wouldn't be too surprised if they synced up pretty well.

Hell, Dave syncopates the lyrics to Yankee Rose exactly like he does for panama.

Key deference, better bass playing with actual bass interaction and bass break for yankee rose, and watered down guitar due to the fact Vai can't produce evh quality material.

Whoever said "It's Showtime,"

Gets it.

That might as well be a Van Halen song.

It showed Becker's ability to throw a VH vibe into his repertoir without being a cunt copycat--

IMO, Yankee Rose sounds NOTHING like a VH tune, but set the tone for a different Roth sound--

ALAE is an awesome song, but not CVH. SHowtime and Yankee Rose are the first two that pop into my mind.

Ladies Nite In Buffalo...

...It could have had a dark vibe like When Push Comes To Shove.

funny.....'cause whether or not LNIB coulda been a VH song, it definitely has the same vibe as PCTS.

Oh and by the way, PRETTY MUCH OF ANYTHING ROTH HAS PUT OUT IS IMAGINABLE AND POSSIBLE FOR VAN HALEN. PERIOD. PERI-@#$%&!-OD.
