Screaming For Vengeance
Rapid Fire
Riding On The Wind
Bloodstone
Exciter
Devil's Child
Painkiller

I not only enjoy listening, but those are among my favorites to play as well.

Priest & Iron Maiden are the two bands whose material I absolutely love to play. Maiden especially, as it keeps my chops up, and provides me with a great aerobic workout!

But I have been a fan of Priest music for 26 years.

I saw Priest on the Screaming For Vengeance Tour, was able to spend most of the show up front holding leaning on the barrier, and since it was a reserved seating show, there were only a handful of people there with me, and security never made us leave!

Needless to say, Halford blew my fucking mind.

As Dirty harry would say "He blew my head clean off!"

Halford is my favorite vocalist of all time.

When they started going grindcore, I paid less attention.

I like the older stuff....

IMO, Priest is the benchmark regarding MODERN metal influence. I don't even know what the fuck that means. I do know this, Priest WAS NOT a blues-based outfit.

This vinyl sumbitch right here is good stuff.

Methinks you don't like Priest.

I quit buying Priest once I heard some of the "Painkiller" material. It just wasn't my bag, baby.

Fave songs:

Desert Plains
The Ripper
Tyrant
Livin' After Midnite
Grinder
Delivering The Goods
Devil's Child
Bloodstone
Love Bites
The Sentinel
Victim Of Changes
Exciter
Better By You Better Than Me
Don't Go
Headin' Out To The Highway
Out In The Cold (Yes it dabbled in the synth sound but cool to me)

And many others.

Any other Rocka Rolla fans? Seriously, I sat down the other day and relistened to it, and I gotta say I really like this album more and more as the years go by...

I own it...It definitely has it's moments. One day I'm gonna really have to give it a listen.

How can you resist a song with a title as long as: "Winter/Deep Freeze/Winter Retreat/Cheater" :)

Yeah, I went to the music store last night and (oddly enough) they played the whole Painkiller album. Been a while since I'd listened to it, I'd forgotten how good it was.

Funny thing is, it's one of the many albums you can find yourself air-guitaring to!
