i saw GWAR in concert,there music sucks but they do one of the coolest stage shows ever

The one thing that completely validates them is they are kickass musicians!

If they had a great stage show but sucked ass in the music department, they would not have near the impact they do.

I saw a side project of theirs about 10-12 years ago called X-Cops that was a fucking riot!! Song titles like "You Fucked Up", and "You're Going Down"...all the guys were dressed like various cops...the vocalist (Oderus Urungus in GWAR) was dressed up like a Southern Sheriff with a cowboy hat on....at one point a roadie of theirs (who was black) came out on stage and they beat the shit out of him and drug him away...this one psycho motorcycle cop guy kept running around the stage point his pistol everywhere...

They are a bunch of sick, twisted, yet very talented guys!

Well, they certainly took the KISS formula of dressing up as characters to a whole nother level.

I'll give them that.

But they are indeed sick, but funny at the same time.

I remember an album they had that was called "HELL-O!"

I find them boring, quite frankly. They stole elements of Alice, KISS, WASP, even freaking Lizzy Borden and tried to be sicker. The songs lick the sweat off a dead man's balls.

I probably would have liked them when I was 12.
