Amen, History will not look Good on Rap, I think Hip-Hop died in 1995, I like Old School beacuse they auctually sang about real issues (Public Enemy, NWA.), when 2pac was shot, the era of Hip-Pop began.
But look at Rock They have bands like Zep, The Who, Floyd, which in my opinon will be up with Composers like Bach and Motzart.

De La Soul, Public Enemy, NWA, Run DMC and 2Pac were all great artists and groups. I definitely can't say the same about Eminem, 50 Cent, The Game and Nelly.

There were lots of great old school rap artists, imo.
