It's 60 years ago to the day since the Hiroshima bombing. The subject on the bombings still remains a relatively hot topic (was it justified). Personally I think the US was right to drop the bombs. Look at the alternative - A land invasion by Brithish and American troops of Japan (dispatches had been made for this, and both sides had comitted a large number of troops).

Any land invasion would have undoubtely been met with a wave of fanatics (suicide bombers etc) that would have killed a countless number of troops and prolonged the war for months

The U. S. should drop the atomic bomb on Iraq, Iran & Afghanistan for helping terrorists in their countries which would show them we mean business like it did with Hiroshima & the end of WW2.

If the USA as going to nuke a country it should be saudi arabia. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were saudi citizens. But then who would dumbya hold hands with?

If it's anywhere it'll be Iran (North Korea are mad enough to hit back so I can't see Bush wanting any part of them)
