O.K. ...maybe this has been a topic before, I don't know, but here goes.

What's your favorite Van Halen song that features both your favorite Edward intro with matching lyrics and Diamond Dave vocals ?

It's harder than you think, in my opinion, simply because of the song structures and nuances between everything they've done.

I LOVE Ed's intro to "Atomic Punk" and although Roth kicks, it's not one of my favotire pairing ups. And "In a simple rhyme" is vice-versa.

Now, "Mean Street" ... damn tough to beat, for me.

Talk to me

I think the intro to the Full Bug fits together really well.

The best DLR/VH guitar intro would have to be ALAE cos when the synthesizers kick in it creates a fucking massive sound that you have to bang your head to.

Runners up include Just Like Paradise and Goin Crazy.

Sorry Vai-man ...I meant DLR WITH Van Halen ...not when he was on his own.

Sorry,
In that case it would have to be Dance The Night Away as it is a wicked riff of a classic party anthem.

I like the intro to "Fools" a lot. Ed's guitar and Dave's raspy vocal intro.Very cool opening...

Women In Love, Beautiful Girls. Full Bug, of course, is king of the castle. I also think Dirty Movies is pretty fab
