Hi Guys,
Can you let me know what kind of Acustic Dave is playing on tour with the with pick guard. Thanks...btw can he really play..I mean Ice Cream Man isn't the easiest song

white pick guard on natural body? it's a gibson. I don't know what model it is.

yeah he actually plays it, without a pick.

The best playing I've ever heard out of Dave was when he did 79th and Sunset on some radio program. However like all of Dave's guitar tunes he was tuned to an open chord. ;)

Absolutely. That sounded very impressive, almost like Steve Howe(ish) picking . And why that song was never released remains a mystery as it is an incredible tune.

Scorp, there are live pictures of Dave somewhere on here. There's got to be one of that guitar somewhere. If that would help....

That's an old Ovation with a DiMarzio soundhole-mounted humbucker pickup.
