I'm not picking this year, I'm praying. After the past few years of hell at Alabama I'm just happy to see them be able to play in a bowl game. It's a goddamn shame that two pillars of college football like Alabama and Notre Dame have come to be mediocre at best. However, you can bet your ass they will rise above it.

Right now I think my Crimson Tide has a good chance to upset and surprise this year...as long as I stay away from the games. Last year I went to the game where Brodie Croyle was hurt...so I'd better stay home this year. ;) (ain't going to happen...just bullshitting)

You're kidding right? SC is going to be loaded for years, they have been getting the best recruiting classes in the country the last 3 years. The second team is very good, they are 2 or 3 deep at every position, they're gonna be just fine next year.

And they'd have scored 100 yesterday if Carroll didn't call off the dogs in the third quarter. Defense needs to play better though.

I was at SC for the worst era of football in our history, with Larry Smith destroying the program in the early 90's. We had very little to cheer about for my four years there...I'm gonna enjoy this run as long as I can. :)

You want to talk about destroying a program? How about the Bob Davie years at Notre Dame? This guy was the first coach to drop seven games since 1963!!! And what does he do? Manages to get us to a BCS game only to be completely dominated and humiliated by some team from an Oregon school with bad uniforms... lol

The only person to outdo Lloyd Carr in terms of recruiting Top 10 classes and getting Top 50 results. I just don't even want to relive the Davie era. We beat Oklahoma and USC in the late 90s, but after 2000, it was all downhill.

Only hope Weis isn't a flash in the pan like Willingham's first 8 games...

Sadly, I'll be happy with 8-3 and a Gator Bowl victory.... considering ND hasn't WON a bowl game in 12 years, any win would be a good start...
