What I LOVE about SPAMMY HAGAR? That's Easy.

He's a "HAG"...... He's No Diamond....Spammy couldn't qualify for "Diamond Dust".

I also LOVE the fact that Spammy cannot compete or become a Legend like Dave.....it'll never happen.

As you might have noticed.....There are some awesome Van Halen Tribute Bands out there....All doing ROTH ERA... Haven't come across any VH Tribute band of HAG ERA...the facts speak for themselves.

The best thing about Sammy Hagar is ...is that he's not using the rest of the boys in Van Halen as his back up band to give his solo career a kick start when he feels like it.

It's apparent that he wanted the best band in the world to back him so that whenever he sings HIS stuff, it sounds better than anyone, including him, could imagine.

He didn't do most of the classic Van Halen because it takes huge titanium ones to pull it off. That's why I gotta tip the hat to Gary ...he tried and did much better than Sam ever could have.

I mean .... he joined a BAND. He didn't audition for new players and cut some new stuff ... he was asked to join the baddest band in the world after they were left without a frontman. (Replacing Roth we won't get into ... we ALL know no one was replacing him ... who could after 1984's success ?!?!?)
