care package

So Sarge posted where you could send care packages if you wanted to and I figured why the hell not.

I don't have a number tp reach my Aunt and cousin to ask them because they're at a military hospital (he had to have hip surgury cuz the chemo screwed them up), so I figured I'd ask some of you guys since we have a lot of military dudes.

I figured sunscreen or lip balm but I want to get something other than that.

Just keep in mind that I don't have too much money to spend on this.

Sarge told me any kind of movie - DVD's - (sorry not cheap) or any kind of guitar instruction (his only hobby over there). I sent him a bunch of movies. You may be able to find some kind of guitar magazine fairly reasonable. I sent him one of them too. I forget the name, but it had Eddie on the cover.

I also sent stuff like moist wipes ( adult baby wipes :p ) and lotion and Life Savers lol.

He said no porn or alcohol. I thought that was safe because it's sold in supermarkets. Some sexy pics but no nudity that I saw on quick perusal. I figure at worst, he might have to rip a couple pages out.

I have to say I was a little offended at some of the sites I Googled, since it seems they want you to send a particular product brand....I think that reeks of advertising, war-porfiteering product placement bullshit!

Another tip I picked up not already mentioned:

Don't send anything pork for obvious reasons.
