Colon cancer...just read it this morning at Blabbermouth, just heard he had it two days ago...reminds me of the Freddie Mercury/Eazy E announcements in their suddeness after the announcement.

Voivod was a GRATE fuckin' metal band, period. If you haven't heard them before, do yourself a favor and go download something now.

Damn that sucks....

Not a great fan of their music, but they were a great band with a great reputation and history.

Holy shit! What a shock! Without Piggy they won't continue. If you get past thier first couple of albums, which were okay but really very primitive thrash, they became a fantastic, almost progressive metal outfit. (Oxymoron, I know)....

Too bad. Their last disk with Newsted was really good.
