View Full Version : Prince tears it up at the Rock & Roll hall of fame

I just got through watching the induction ceremony on VH1. The man started off the program and was by far the best act there. Later on he joined Tom Petty, Jeff Lynn, Steve Winwood, and George's son for My Guitar Gently Weeps.. His solo was simply amazing. Anyone who thinks the guy shouldn't be there should watch the show. :killer:

If anyone should be in the thing from that era it should be Prince and I'm not a huge fan...

Yep, Prince belongs. Someday, Lemmy better get a lifetime achievement award or something!

That's right. Wasn't he the first guy to play a bass through a Marshall lead amp?

I always thought his guitar sound sucked.

He insisted in using a horrible buzzy sound.

Yeah, Prince is a damn good guitarist. Wasn't Springsteens' speech cool?

I was thinking that maybe he had a crush on Jackson browne...lol

Prince is one of the baddest motherfuckers alive and that performance reaffirmed it.

Anybody have a clip or link of him performing at the Hall? I saw it live and loved it but haven't been able to find it online to download and see it again.
