Just ran across a VHS tape I wish I could share with everyone.

It contained Rockford Files episodes [still not available on DVD dammit ] but at the trail end, there was a Special Report on NBC from 1994 talking about the forth coming "Information Superhighway"

It is hilarious to watch.

In 1994 they didn't even know what to call it, what it would do, who would have it, but were damn sure it was going to be huge !

Classic footage of AL Gore [looking all of 18] talking about it.

They even though it should be called the Info-Bahn.

Most of it seemed to centralize around on demand movies and clicking on handy ads that will "pop up" on your screen !!!!

During breaks in this program there were news updates around the trial of the Bush Assasination Attempt, and WMDs in Iraq. [how ironic]

It was quite the time capsule to go back 10 years and hear the media talk about where we would be in 2004.

Sure wish I could share it somehow.

Yes, it would be so cool if you could!:D

"Bahn"... It's strange, why a German word? (DLN will say "Why not?":D)
