Thats pretty harsh, not meaning to rehash that thread, but at that time did anyone see the demographics of red/blue within the blue states. The majority of the counties were red it was mostly just the big cities that were blue.

LaSalle claimed the entire Mississippi River in the name of France. He wanted to build a trading post at the mouth of the Mississippi River at the location which is now New Orleans.
