There was an item on CNN this morning where they interviewed firefighters and resue workers totalling over 600 who are waiting in Baton Rouge to be allowed to assist in the rescue and recovery efforts.

FEMA is ACTIVELY preventing them from assisting.

Uhh...aren't they the FEDERAL Emergency Management AUTHORITY?

Right now Dick Cheney is going to Louisiana to try to force the Governor to hand over control of the Louisiana National Gard to the Feds...something she refuses to do, and something that is completely illegal...
