he was good but,you watch the film and you are saying to yourself, jack nicholson was great in this movie instead of the joker was great in the movie.imo he was too big a name to play the joker.they better get an unknown to play him in the next batman movie

Christian Bale did an excellent job but he was working directly from the blueprint that Michael Keaton laid down in the first two. The Joel Schumacher directed farces should be discarded, destroyed and never spoken of again!

I loved Batman Begins. It remained true to the original story while moving nicely with the times. Cool flick.

Me, I'm Batman!

There are only two real Batmen.

Movies: Keaton, there is only one Keaton.

TV: Adam West, nobody else could have achieved such cult icon status wearing what he had to wear.

Michael Keaton was the best Batman, by far, IMO. George Clooney was terrible as Batman!

I liked Christian Bale's take on the Dark Knight.

But like someone said earlier, it was just another take on Micheal Keaton's version, with the rough voice and so on.

Keaton paved the way how Batman should sound and act in a motion picture.

All the other guys just took what Keaton did.

Keaton, though the Burton Batman movies were my favorites in general.

Suppose Bale was adequate, although thinking back about Batman Begins, I'm not so impressed with it now. A few decent scenes, but it's not anything I'm gonna buy or rent when it comes out on dvd. Don't care if I never see it again. Same goes for Batman and Robin.

Batman Forever I'll watch whenever it's on tv. It's ok in spots. Kilmer was decent. Just didn't care for the way the movies looked after Burton left, and I'm not a Burton fan either, per se.
