Aerosmith - "Rocks"...
But Led Zeppelin's "Presence" is absent from the list.
Otherwise I'd have voted for Led Zep.;)

I thought presence and In through the out door we're the weakest albums in the catelogue... and there was simply too many good albums to include Zep in every year.

Jesus people....there's not a damn record more important to the history of rock than the Ramones debut in 1976....possibly in all of the 70's!!! How can Aerosmith albums be more important or better?

I heartily disagree. PRESENCE is my favorite Zeppelin album. It's their rawest, punkiest, most energetic album.

As an album, I actually think "Rock and Roll Over" was a lot better in '76. Besides, it was the first record I ever got and that was when it was brand new!!! It was rawer and not as slick. Eddie Kramer kicked it better than Ezrin. IMO.
