This is one issue where I have to give credit to Pat Robertson, of all people. He's been sounding the alarm against NutraSweet/Aspartame for years.

I know from personal experience that I switched from Coke to Diet Coke a few years back, and this was in the days when I drank Coke like water. That shit was fucking me up bigtime. Headaches, blurry vision, even depression to some extent, which I had blamed on other factors going on in my life at the time.

I happenned to watch the 700 Club and saw one of Pat's reports on Nutra Sweet. It all made sense. I quit drinking that shit immediately, and avoid it wherever possible now.

Of course I also avoid regular use of High Fructose Corn Syrup now as well, since it's poison for a whole other list of reasons.

I'm hoping they don't find anything wrong with Splenda next :(
