Ted, again

Katrina has landed the Dems with the most windfall political capital they've enjoyed since the day Monica Lewinsky claimed to have written the "talking points." Comfortable Catholic communicant Ted Kennedy is spending his bit in the sacred cause of abortion, by straining to transfer some of the post-catastrophe odium onto Supreme Court nominee John Roberts:

"What the American people have seen is this incredible disparity in which those people who had cars and money got out and those people who were impoverished died," Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) said in an interview . The question for Roberts, he said, is whether he stands for "a fairer, more just nation" or for "narrow, stingy interpretations of the law to frustrate progress."

This incredible disparity. Stingy interpretations of the law.

Beloved of feminists as a crusader for women's rights, Senator Kennedy (pictured below minimizing disparities on his yacht) now presents himself as a champion of the impoverished -- against the threat posed by constitutional originalist John Roberts. Great days to be a Democrat!

There's the link ford.

I could swear I keep seeing this thread, and every time, it has just a little more content than the previous time.

What does that mean? "Great days to be a Democrat?" What about "great days" to be a Republican? A war we're essentially losing by a stalemate default, numerous corruption scandels in the House, (which is how the Repub's got the House from the Dem's in 96' BTW), and BUSH looks like an incredible shit bag for the inept Federal part of the KATRINA response. And oh yeah, gas is still about $3 a gallon here...

I'm not a huge fan of TED myself, but everything he said was absolutely true, and if having addictions and car accidents in anyway came into play regarding a politician's comments, why the fuck would anyone have voted for coke-spoon, shot trusting, DW.I BUSH?

Well, I guess FORD could close it, as a triplicate thread, and maybe the fourth version might actually have a link from a LEGITIMATE news source (CNS doesn't remotely come close).

But unlike you brain washed mutants, I'm sure FORD has better things to do.

He has over 12,000 posts in a forum where they talk about who should be a singer in a band. Yea I am sure is is real busy.
