I have an old cassette of "Atavachron", and wanted to do some searching. I don't know if this is entirely true, but in '83, the year of the last CVH album, it appears Eddie pushed the album of that year:

I don't think Atavachron will ever be my favorite album, but for some reason when I listen to it, I agree with http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:67d3vwpva9lk~T1

that he "has never truly received the recognition that he so rightfully deserves."

Anyone else dig this guy?

Impossible...his improvisation skills are second to none (all his tunes are improvised)....Atvacharon is not his best album, btw, listen to Metal Fatigue or Sixteen Men of Tain...
