I used to see alot of his work in Heavy Metal magazine and in other
Cartoon/Art mags i picked up.Very interesting style of artistry.

He was also credited w creating the Alien and much of the set direction
background in the Alien movies.I believe?

Man... I wonder what in the fuck possessed him to create such warped shit.

I mean, I dig it and all...really fucking amazing....

But like any normal human, I find it to be pretty fucking bizarre...

Dude...get the 2-disc Extended-Editions...

They fucking RULE!!

I bought all 4 of them earlier this year.

Fucking awesome. Some of the greatest sci-fi films ever made.

AvP was not that great in comparison. It was so predictable and boring that I almost left the theater in the middle of the film.

But it was not a total waste. I give it 2 stars out of four.

The fourth Alien film is fucking great.

I SOOOO much wanna see a lesbian porno film with Winona Ryder and Sigourney Weaver....

Biography for
H.R. Giger

Birth name
Hans Rüdi Giger
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trivia
Designed KoRn vocalist Jonathan Davis' microphone stand.

Designed the highly controversial and surreal cover art for Emerson, Lake, and Palmer's landmark progressive rock album "Brain Salad Surgery". The cover art was originally deemed too sexually explicit to be shown on store shelves, but was edited before release. Giger's design for that ELP album stands out as one of the best examples of 1970's record cover art to this day.

Designed the limited edition poster (rows of copulating genitalia) that was included in vinyl copies of the Dead Kennedys 1985 release "Frankenchrist." Jello Biafra, front man for the Dead Kennedys consequently got arrested for including the artwork with "Frankenchrist" due to its sexually explicit nature.

Suffers from Night Terrors, and keeps an artist's pad near his bed to draw out his nightmares. It was in this fashion that he came up with horrific designs of the monsters for Alien.

Why? It's one of his most boring shots. It's a "landscape" to Giger probably because it's the same repetitive pattern.

My collection consists of the "Alien" films (4 of the greatest ever) and the front cover of "Brain Salad Surgery" by ELP.
