You buy t-shirt transfer paper, print it out on a normal inkjet printer, and just iron it on.
Its really easy and fast, and actually looks pretty good.
You have to buy the normal paper for white t-shirts, and dark paper for colored shirts though.

Here is a dumb question for ya...do you buy the transfers anywhere that sells computer stuff or do you need a craft store?
My oldest needs to make a t-shirt and this sounds like the answer.

I wore it to school :D
