Rob Halford.

He can still hit the notes while the generation who followed him (Bruce Dickinson, Geoff Tate etc.) struggle to sing almost all of their early material.

Chris Robinson!!!

Chris Cornell doesn't always sound as good live...but definetely one of my fav records.

And yes, I admire Tom Jones a lot.

Eric Clapton still sings very well - many of his newer songs just don't rock.

How about Glenn Danzig? I haven't heard him live though.

Go figure...

Joe Elliot from Def Leppard has developed into a much better singer since the '80s. He can't scream quite as high consistently, but he still can blast it.

Ronnie Dio is the best voice but I enjoy DLR more live.

I just wish he'd put out some new @!#$?? shit.

Saw Boston last summer, Brad delp still sounds unbeleivable.

Also saw Vince Neil's fat ass. Worst ever.

everyone's entitled to their opinion, but bono is very over rated and in love with himself!

apparently the self named 'bono' means beautiful voice

I saw Kiss and Aerosmith last Summer and both Tyler and Paul Stanley can still belt it out!
Paul is phenomenal!

Robin Zander of Cheap Trick. He is my favorite vocalist. He can go hard rock, bluesy, and back up to punk and not miss a beat. I really like his range in vocals.

I`ve never rated Joe Elliot as a singer, frontman or rock star.

Not one of my favourites, although Def Leppard made some good records (once upon a time).

I don't know if these guys are still makin' music, I know Ray is not, but for those who enjoy a little roughness in the voice department, my votes go to the following:

Ray Gillen-Badlands (R.I.P)
Brad Sinsel- TKO
Paul Shortino-Rough Cutt
