This forum will not become part of the right wing lie machine.

Here's how it works....

1) Some board or blog posts something entirely ridiculous.

2) A Busheep, either not knowing or not caring that the story is false, spreads it around to other right wing boards or blogs, such as "Free Republic".

3) Matt Drudge, taking a break from sucking Jeff Guckert's dick long enough to check the net, sees the story on Free Republic and adapts it as his own, with a "Developing...." added

4) A secondary right wing news source, such as NewsHax.com sees the item on drudge and presents it as "fact" on their website.

5) FAUX News, considering anything on NewsHax to be a verified story runs with it.

6) The other corporate whore media runs with anything FAUX has, assuming that FAUX has already verified the story (yeah right)

This is how thousands of fabricated news stories have made it into the corrupt media in the last 5 years.

The Front Line won't be a launching pad for such lies.

And if you were to review everything I posted since 9-11-01, you would find that a lot of it turned out to be true after all. Especially anything about Iraq being a bullshit war based on lies.

Actually, the thread should have been disproven during debate that proved it wrong.

Deleting it only showed fear of the content and was a quick fix.

And if you want to talk litigation, there is a myriad of other reasons that could happen here if you really open your eyes and look around. so claiming protection of the site being the reason for the censorship, the excuse in other words, is reaching pretty high.
Nobody with a degree in journalism would find anything on this site reputable in the first place, if it isn't Roth related anyway.

The problem is far more simple than any Dean thread.

I was honestly shocked and disappointed as to how many people actually did "just go their own way"...

I really don"t care about all that other drama in the other threads, except for the entertainment value. But I do know what Sarge thinks of deleting threads and I've never heard anything other than DON"T DO IT.

Maybe we all disagree with one another at some point, but how often do you get the chance to spout off like this in real life?

The United States Armed Forces were created to defend the United States of America, and that should be their only purpose.

Since the end of World War II, they have unfortunately been used for anything but.

Korea had nothing to do with this country. Neither did Vietnam. Iraq was unneccessary BOTH times, and definitely illegal the second. Grenada? Don't make me laugh. Afghanistan? Anybody have any logical objections to any of the above?
