I was re-reading "The Dirt" today when I came across a quote that made me chuckle. The funny thing about this quote is hes right!

"If theres one genetic trait that automaticlly disqualifies a man from being able to rock, its curly hair. Nobody cool has curly hair".

Sound like someone we all know? LMAO!

Frank Zappa
Howard Stern.
Kurt Vonnegut.

They all freaking rock.

I get your point though, Hagar is still a tool.

I like Tommy Lee's quote better about Dave being at one of their parties, a closet door fell on him, yet Dave never spilled his coke (that he wasn't sharing lol) and kept on talkin'. :D

Thiers alot of shit about dave in that book. Worth a read. I thought it was fuckin halarious when I read about Nikki and tommy (I think) biting Eddie V. In the hand hard enough to put Valarie in a state of pure anger.
Classic!

One of the cool things about my stint as guitar tech for Quiet Riot was the great Randy Rhoads stories Dubrow tells....one was about them auditioning Nikki back in the days before Motley. He said Nikki already had his look down, but had not yet fully learned to play. Randy went to show him a riff, saying "This one's in F# minor", Nikki was like "Where's F#?" Dubrow said Randy turned around to him and was like "Dude --DON'T DO THIS TO ME!!!!" LOL! Having said that, met Nikki a few years ago and he was cool. He even apologized to me for that racist quote he made a few years back, he was like "Dude, ever call your girl a bitch...and before the words even leave your mouth, you know you fucked up?" I thought that was cool. I told him if I really thought he was a racist I wouldn't have been talking to him. He went on to give me some cool music business advice....nice guy.

As for that quote, I've got curly hair and I rock out with my cock out regularly. So there. ;)

ok ok ok....I will put my take on this....MORE strait haired rockers rock than curly haired dudes.

I also have wavy hair (kinda curly) so it was more of a joke than anything. Just found it funny at the time.

Peter Frampton is not exactly a "Rocker' rather good 70's Pop. I mean everyone had Frampton comes alive back in the 70's. Didn't matter if you had a Mohawk or were into Black Sabbath. Grate Album and If you didn't like you're lying.
