Well, it's official. Sirius Canda are the wimpy equivalent of their terrestrial radio cousins, and have decided to not carry Howard Stern. We get the fucking fantastic Martha Stewart of course.....

This is why Americans make fun of us, Canada...and I don't blame them. In too many ways we are a nation of pussywimps. Too many goddamn contradictory policies...

We're afraid to air Stern, but having hardcore porn on the Movie Network is just fine.

Easy...just sub to Sirius like someone in the US.

I subbed to XM back in June...XM Canada has not given up any details yet with what they will add or take out. My plan is if they block something I listen to I will keep my US sub and not switch. No big deal.

How'd you do it? You need a U.S. address, but even if you get it, you have to use a credit card....how do you get around that Canadian adress on your credit card.

When I purchased my radio the shop(Visions) gave me an address to use...I signed up and used my Credit Card with email notification. You get a break for longer term subs. I went with a year.

They should be able to tell I am Canadian by the card number but they are getting money and subs and do not care. Some people buy gift certificates and use them for their sub...another method that seems good.

Take a look on the forums at XMfan.com and you find a forum titled "across the border"...lots of info there.

supposedly a lot of people use the street address for Sirius' office in NY...LOL...

If you have any family or friends in the US that should be an easy fix also.

A guy I work with has Sirius...I imagine they must do the same thing to sign up.
