According to Universal Music, RAMMSTEIN's new album, "Rosenrot", has been certified platinum in Germany for sales in excess of 200,000 copies since its October 28 release. The CD topped the official album chart in Germany, Austria and Finland, and has landed at No. 2 in Sweden and Denmark, No. 4 in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, No. 5 in France, No. 6 in Mexico, No. 11 in Italy and No. 29 in the U.K. In addition, "Rosenrot" has already achieved gold status in Austria, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
As previously reported, RAMMSTEIN are nominated in the category "Best Live Act" for the "Eins Live" Krone award. Germany's biggest radio awards ceremony will be held at the Arena Oberhausen on November 24, 2005 and will be broadcast live by Eins Live radio at 7:00 p.m. and on TV by the WDR at 10:00 p.m.
