Used to totally dig his stuff.

Still do. From Sabbath throughout his first two solo albums and select tracks here and there from Bark At the Moon - No More Tears.

As the years wind on, just find I'm having less and less use for him. Kind of a gradual thing over the last two decades. Culmination of discoveries from 1983 onward, such as finding out that Butler and Daisley wrote his best lyrics (IMO), watching him get blown off the stage by opening acts Motley Crue and Metallica in 1984 and 19866 respectively, seeing him rise to the occasion a bit when Wylde first joined the band...

...by the early 1990s he pretty much stopped making decent music. Think the final straw was him letting his talentless, insipid family hijack his image and plant themselves right next to him/direct his comings and goings. Didn't find his permanently befuddled demeanor on the Osbournes so much comical as it was a little sad, and seeing Ozzy being mentioned by Bush, doing a soda commercial and performing for the Queen...well, Ozzy is little more than another brand name for me now, just like the Rolling Stones. And his wife just needs to go away. Her pulling that shit with Maiden just reflects back on him. Guilt by association. Ozzfest is a bore and the Black Sabbath reunion has already happened several times. He's got nothing left to offer.

I'm done with him.

I used to be big fan as well.

Still like almost everything up to and including "Tribute".

When Zakk joined his records got horribly over produced and unlistenable.

The TV show killed it for me.

I like to imagine my favourite rock stars in a "Kiss Exposed" setting rather than seeing that they`re really a dithering old cunt with a bunch of spoilt dicks for a family.

Ozzy took the coin at the expence of musical credibilty.

RIP.

And it's definetely not Zakk's fault...they don't even let him write songs to Ozzy anymore.

DREAMER is one of the most disgusting songs ever, and the keyboards on that song are a horrible IMAGINE-ripoff...

I'd still go to see Black Sabbath live, and did last summer, but not to see Ozzy...to see the whole band!

His players are still dahm good, but they don't get into the songwriting - idiotic.

KILL SHARON.

I was a HUGE Ozzy fan... I can't say that I have enjoyed anything past Bark At The Moon except Ozzmosis. That is a damn good CD IMO. I agree... Ozzy has become a joke. I enjoyed the TV show put that got old and now I'm SICK of hearing both Sharon & Ozzy talk about their stupid problems. They both want so badly to be victims it's PATHETIC! Just GO AWAY, both of you!

If Zakk could write for Ozzy there would be hope.

Some BLS screams for Ozzy on vocals.

The TV show is a train wreck...I could not wait to see it and once I did...yikes....

I'd still like to hear a new sabbath album with Ozzy...

Ozzy seems to be worthless unless he has either Geezer Butler or Bob Daisley writing lyrics for him. Obviously Daisley won't be working with him any time soon, and the Sabbath "reunion" seems to be more off than on lately.

Maybe it's time to find Ozzy another bass player who writes lyrics. Problem is, all the guys I can think of in that category already sing their own songs (Paul McCartney, Chaim Witz, Lemmy, Sting)

Any ideas to help out the Ozzman?

I think Roy Z was mentioned a while back (Bruce Dickinson/Halford)...which would be a great idea, if only Ozzy could sing anymore...

I though Dio was back with Black Sabbath?

I'm kinda looking forward to hearing some of the new Ozzy release...him singing "Rocky Mountain Way"...that could be good.

1. Rocky Mountain Way
2. In My Life
3. Mississippi Queen (voc up)
4. Go Now
5. Woman
6. 21st Century Schizoid Man
7. All The Young Dudes
8. For What It’s Worth
9. Good Times
10.Sunshine Of Your Love
11.Fire
12.Working Class Hero
13.Sympathy For The Devil

For recording new material for the upcoming "Dio Years" box set, yeah, but Ronnie's management has went out and said that he's not a permanent member of Sabbath again, he's happy as a solo artist, et al.

For now, hopefully :) I myself would hand my soul over to Satan gladly in exchange for another Dio/Sabbath full length LP.

It all sucks!

I'm one of the biggest Ozzy fans there is...

All The Young Dudes is embarrassing...

It plain sucks...

I know what you mean...hopefully they'll rekindle some of the spark they shared before and feel compelled to "extend" the open mike that has been an open door with Sabbath.

Both of those tours were spectacular as well!

The Dio thing is that they mentioned that they were going to drag out a couple of songs they wrote back in the day that were demo'd but never released and do some real recordings of them and then add them to the box set.

Nothing more...

Fine with me. I haven't been privvy to any of the unreleased basement Dio tapes circa '80-'81, anyway, so it'll all be a treat for me :)

I'm just hoping to God that they decide the Ozzy/reunion thing is done and opt to go out sailing across the sea of light with Ronnie...captain at the helm... :D
