You mentioned many European films, I think you were the only one to do so. I'm impressed. :)

I didn't dare mentioning French films... Actually, most of them are Frencho-French stuff. They almost never cross the borders because they're all too definite as far as background.

Whats with all the fuckin Stanley Kubrick shit? Can we say, "OVERRATED ALMOST AS MUCH AS THAT LUCAS FUCKER"!

HMMMM!!! Star Wars bores the fuck outta me and always has but I can see why OTHER people like it. I can not forgive this dick for making "American Graffiti" then "Howard The Duck"?

That's like numbskull making "Full Metal Jacket" then "Eyes Wide Shut". Thats the only movie I fell asleep, woke up and realized I was in hell cause it was only half over, fell asleep again, woke up and sold my tv. It made me decide to start reading again.

My favorite western............. EVER!

Well, the one oft quoted by famous directors (Coppola, Spielberg, Lucas, Kubrick, Huston, Cameron, etc.) as the greatest film ever made is The Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa.

A recent film that blew my mind is Spiderman II.

Sure, it is based on a comic-book hero, but there was dialogue in it reminiscent of some of the great films like Casablanca.

What I really think was a fucking masterpiece (as did many other peeps) was The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy.

However, it was not an original screenplay. It was an adaptation of an existing work.

I also think a film with the most universal appeal amongst the Human Race has to be The Wizard Of Oz.

It is one of those films where it is difficult to even consider there was a "Behind The Scenes".

As for Clint Eastwood westerns....I love High Plains Drifter...
