I've heard they were going to make this (anything has to be better than Rocky V). However I've just read this:

"We are going to start filming Rocky VI soon, with me as Clubber Lang again - MR T

Apparently the Plot Outline is this: Rocky comes out of retirement to go in the ring once again this time he is taking on an old foe in the shape of Clubber Lang.

This doesn't sound too good.

It's going to be low budget and the "Big Fight" will be Rocky (aged 60) vs Clubber (aged around 60 and not healthy) again.

Even Talia Shire (Adrian) is said to be sitting this one out - Rocky is now said to be a windower

Sometimes people just don't know when to quit.. Sly made a terrrible mistake with Rocky V. He should have bowed out with decency with Rocky IV as it was not terrible. This sequel can only lead to one thing. A terrible movie...

they do most of the time suck as proved by movies like halloween
i usualy hate sequels,but rocky 2 and rocky 3 were good i think.

Stallone has been trying to get this thing made for years.

Man, Rocky ran its course. Fuck, even by the time Rocky III came out, the series was reaching towards the bottom of the barrel.

Rocky was such a great movie. Rocky II I could stomach, since it was cool to see him win the title. After that, just a case of diminishing returns.

Fuck, make a sequel to Rhinestone or Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot before this shit. Please, Sly.

Read an article in a mag that said Stallone would be better off making a sequel to Cobra. Fuck, I'd much rather see that than another Rocky...yeah, yeah, if I don't like the idea than don't go see it, stop whining, blah blah. I'm a rubbernecker, no doubt. Fuck, I knew Van Helsing was gonna suck ass, but went to see it anyway. Know how some people love movies so bad they're good? We;;, sometimes I like to see all-out shitfests from start to finish, and Rocky VI looks like it will fit the bill nicely.

From Rocky III on the franchise sucked emu balls in Maui.

But the problem with the last 3 films was that the production had too much money. whenever there is too much money things get way out of hand. I actually think if it's on a budget like the first two were, more like the first though, there is a chance it might be worth seeing.

My problem with III, IV, and V was all the fluff involved.

But what would have been awesome for this is if Apollo Creed hadn't been killed off and they ended this film where they began, with a tie.

I was pissed when Apollo got killed by a fucking Russian, a non-acting Dolph Lundgren at that...

I'll watch it, but on DVD, not in the theater.

from Rocky III it all got too unreal,way to superhero for me.

Rock IV was laughable really.this russian hits so fucking hard he kills apollo in round 2,the mighty Rocky steps in the ring and gets his ass handed to him for i forget how many rounds,considerably more than 2,and comes out unscathed in comparison

They have "Eye of the Tiger" in the first Rocky and "In the burning Heart" in the 4......Lets see if they can repeat it
