BISMARCK, ND – Today, in campaigns stops in Minot, Fargo, Grand Forks and Bismarck, Governor John Hoeven (R-ND) will announce his intentions to seek another four-year term as North Dakota’s Governor.

“I am very excited that Governor Hoeven has chosen to seek re-election. He has done an excellent job leading our state since being elected in 2004. He has put in place many new and exciting policies and programs that will build our future in North Dakota,” said State Republican Party Chairman, Ken Karls. “America has seen many changes and endured many hardships over the past few years. Governor Hoeven’s leadership during these times has helped ensure that North Dakota remains one of America’s brightest stars.”

“I am very excited to have President Bush and Governor Hoeven leading the Republican ticket in 2008. With these two impressive leaders I am sure 2008 will be a Republican year in North Dakota,” stated Karls.
