Rosalynn Carter: Kudzu should be addressed.

Former first lady Rosalynn Carter has suggested that the importation of Kudzu might have been a mistake.

"My recent fall has nothing to do with it. I've been aware of the species' negative effect for some time now. The problem is, local municipalities were either poorly informed regarding implementation, or the cattle didn't enjoy it enough. It's everywhere now, and the problem needs to be addressed. Sure, I enjoy working in the garden....and yes, I tripped while weeding. It isn't about breaking my hip, it's about correcting a problem left unchecked....a problem I'm partially responsible for."
