Oregon Ducks lay egg in Holiday Bowl!

Well for the second year in a row, the Pac-10 runner-up blows it in the Holiday Bowl. #6 Ducks lose to unranked Okla. 17-14. Ducks offense couldn't get anything going, looked pitiful. Game wasn't even as close as the score, Ducks got a cheap touchdown late in the 4th after a bad inteference call against the Sooners on the goal line. Most Holidays Bowls have lots of offense, this one was a lot slower paced.

After the last 2 years, maybe the 2nd place Pac-10 teams are overlooked in the BCS for a reason? :D

I think they were overrated this year...but that's certainly nothing to take away from the top team in the Pac-10...

and as much as I dislike Oklahoma...this Oklahoma is a vastly improved team from the one that looked so horrible at the beginning of the season...

Both teams looked pretty sad. Boring game. Well at least Choklahoma didn't get blown about by another Pac-10 team.

Careful there... next year no one will want to play "Choklahoma"! They will go undefeated until the National Championship game and who knows which team will show up then...

Also, Oregon just flat got their butts handed to them on both sides of the ball. Oklahoma's defensive line absolutely dominated Oregon's O-Line the whole game. OU's offense should have had two more touchdowns if Mr. Peterson wouldn't have made a sophomore mistake by trying to extend the ball over the goal line on 3rd down and if an ignorant official wouldn't have called back an earlier touchdown due to a phantom holding incident.
