Her only "legend" is that she was MARRIED TO one....

If it were not for that fact, she would not have had any public image whatsoever...

Geez dude, can't you say something nice about her in this thread on the day of her death?

I was listening to NPR on the way into work this morning, and they were interviewing a Stanford professor who worked with her in compiling MLK Jr.'s personal papers. His opinion was that Coretta was very active in the peace and civil rights movement before she met MLK Jr., and that her involvement and passion for those issues is what drew MLK Jr. to her. He also explained that she has worked tirelessly since his death to further his cause. So I think she's developed a legacy of her own... overshadowed by MLK's for sure, but a legacy nonetheless.

RIP.

It's for people like her that I hope there is an afterlife. Nobody deserves to be reunited more than her and MLK.
