Police are investigating a home video that depicts a Southmost man engaging in sexual acts with a young girl and a small dog.
According to a police report, the man’s girlfriend discovered the tape on Thursday but it was not turned over to investigators un-til Saturday.
Police are searching for Southmost resident Jesus De Leon, 25, who they say is seen on tape receiving oral sex from the girl.
It is The Brownsville Herald’s policy to not identify alleged sexual assault victims or their relationship to the accused.
According to the report, the tape also shows a dog involved in sexual acts with De Leon in a separate encounter.
The woman told investigators that she was transferring home movies from a video camera to a VHS tape when she discovered the images.
Brownsville Police Sgt. Jimmy Manrrique declined to comment on the case but confirmed an active investigation as well as an ongoing search for De Leon, of the 1700 block of Monclova Drive, who was wanted for questioning at press time Monday.
