I haven't seen either of them on DVD.

^Probably not on DVD ... just curious. I'm be interested in both. I had them years ago. Thought it was o.k.! Even vhs copy would be fine. Easy enough to covert to DVD here!

Apparently the original must be really hard to find. Some jackass on Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000665S7/002-4657983-1873620?v=glance) is trying to get $600 for a VHS tape! :eek:

And the sequel's going for $40 used. Obviously a DVD release of these documentaries is long overdue.

I seem to remember talk about a "Part 3" in the works which would have focused on rap, but I don't know if that ever came to reality or not.

I remember seeing The Metal Years in a Toronto theatre where my uncle and I were the only people in the place. Only time that's ever happened to me.
