The Swiss were coached by a Canadian...

A little adversity is good for the team.

They learned about the toe in the crease rule for international hockey today...a valuable lesson.

I think the Swiss are able to develop a useful trap and having people in place to prepare before games.

They insert a couple of top NHL goalies and they are sound defensively.

The women where great in the short programme of ice dancing Sacha Cohen from the USA did particularly well. I like the Russian and the Japanese dancers as well. I really enjoyed watching the ice hockey USA V Russia. What about snowboarding. Great.

Curling clubs are starting to pop back up in Michigan once again. It was almost as popular as bowling back in the 50's. The Acrobatics where really cool. Can't believe the Gold has gone to China, Peterson was supposed to be favorite and the ladies can't believe Arakawa won, her performance was flawless. I was shocked they did not put the other Japanese girl on the podium as her performance was much better and cleaner technically than Cohen and the Russian girl, both did loads of mistakes in their performances.

Overall, I think the US caught a lot of hell for not having a good Olympics, but they did very well considering...

The US hosted in 2002...and had 34 medals...but finished 2nd to...yeah...the Germans...

10 golds for the Americans in '02...compared to 9 this year...

and we won some shit we weren't supposed to...

had a few people won some medals they should have...IE...Bode Miller...

We'd have been close to matching our home field advantage...
