U.S. DEFENSE FACTORY CONTROLLED BY RED CHINA

"Citing national-security concerns, two Democratic lawmakers are engaged in a last-ditch effort to halt plans for the transfer of an Indiana factory that produces critical technology used in the guidance systems of U.S. ‘smart bombs’ to the People’s Republic of China.

"The Department of Defense denies any impropriety, but some observers are asking: Is it a case of politics as usual, or a cover-up? The Magnequench factory (originally known as UGIMAG) was sold in August 2000 to a consortium that included Chinese interests. In 2001, it was announced the plant would be shut down.

"The factory is responsible for producing 80 percent of the rare-earth permanent magnets used in the guidance systems of U.S. ‘smart bombs,’ according to lawmakers.

"On Aug. 1, the office of Rep. Pete Visclosky, D-Ind., issued a statement indicating he and Sen. Evan Bayh, D-Ind., were mounting a ‘last-ditch’ effort to halt the factory move to China. Citing the loss of 225 northwest Indiana jobs, Visclosky also expressed concern over the ‘transfer of sensitive defense technology to the People’s Republic of China.’ …"

HUTCHISON WHAMPOA STRENGTHENS RED CHINESE PRESENCE IN WESTERN HEMISPHERE

"Hutchison's owner, Hong Kong tycoon Li Ka-Shing, 'has extensive business ties in Beijing and has compelling financial reasons to maintain a good relationship with China's leadership,' the report said. ...

"Marine Corps Gen. Charles E. Wilhelm, the commander in chief of the U.S. Southern Command...told the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing he believes China does use businesses for military purposes. ...

"Gen. Wilhelm...stated that China's goals in Panama are 'less a local threat to the canal and more a regional threat posed by expanding Chinese influence throughout Latin America.'

"Other experts see increased Chinese commercial activities in this hemisphere as providing Beijing with a potential base for anti-U.S. subversion during a future conflict with the United States."

RED CHINA AND OSAMA BIN LADEN ARE COLLABORATORS

Peter Finn writes from Milan (Washington Post, 10/20/01, p. A17) that "Chinese nationals visited Osama bin Laden terrorist camps in Afghanistan after a U.S. cruise missile attack there in 1998 and paid for the right to study and remove unexploded missiles, according to a conversation between two alleged veterans of the camps that was secretly taped by Italian police.

" ‘From every part of the world, businessmen who hate Americans have come to study the strategy of American missiles,’ said Lased Ben Heni, 31, a Libyan who was arrested in Munich this month on an Italian warrant. ‘In particular, businessmen have come from China. [Bin Laden] works a great deal with China. He’s got good relations with them.’ …

"Aerospace technology has been a major point of friction between China and the United States. In 1999, a congressional committee accused China of stealing U.S. technology related to jet fighter guidance systems and missile technology. The United States has also pressed China to limit its missile exports. …

" ‘He bargained with the Chinese and sold [missiles] to them for an enormous sum – I think 10 million dollars – but only after the sheik [bin Laden is often called "the sheik"] had studied them,’ Heni said."

RED CHINA SUPPLIED WEAPONS TO TALIBAN

Investor's Business Daily (12/27/01) editorializes that "A senior U.S. officials, according to The Washington Times on Dec. 21, 'said that a week after the terrorist attack, the ruling Taliban and the al-Qaida fighters embedded among them received shipment of Chinese-made SA-7 missiles.'

"Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld notes that American soldiers 'seem to have captured a good deal of Chinese ammunition.' American soldiers have found much of it in 'the caves of Tora Bora,' reported the Times...Rumsfeld says some Chinese have even been found fighting alongside the Taliban. ...

"This is the same nation that denied it was selling nuclear technology to Pakistan in the 1990s, even as shipments were being seized. The same nation that denied it was spying on America's nuclear weapons labs. That denied it was giving illegal campaign contributions in the U.S.

"Make no mistake about it: China is a terrorist power, as threatening to America's future as any ragtag collection of terrorists in the Middle East. The war on terrorism should not become a wall behind which evil regimes not directly responsible for Sept. 11 can hide.

"China's pledges of 'cooperation' in this war are as meaningless as Joseph Stalin's conciliatory words at Yalta...A deep anti-Western animus resides in the totalitarian ideology of China, making it a natural ally with anti-American Islamic powers. Radical Islam and Chinese communism are kindred spirits in many respects. ...

"Nevertheless, many members of the Western elite are as indulgent toward China as they once were toward the Soviet Union. Many would like to normalize China's abusive regime, and the war on terrorism has given them a pretext to advance this agenda, as they point to China's faux supporter for America after Sept. 11."

There is three+1 ways you can look at these quotes:

1, Clintons presidency is the reason the 911 attacks were possible.

2. Clintons dealings with China and his socialist dogma are directly
responsible for 911.

3.The war in afganistan and iraq are simply tools to give our Military
a Foot Hold (in Asia) within threat range to keep China at bay.

4. CHINA IS THE ENEMY all this taliban sh!t is the chinese way to
start a war with america and not get their hands dirty and we /you
have been duped into believing it's all about Bush ad Oil.

any comments welcome ..?

The ammunition in Tora Bora was new stuff too. The Chinese put their ammo in the big Spam can the Russians do and every can has a batch number with a date. It was not some old Russian stuff left over from their war.

The Chinese Military run it's own industries and finances itself. Norinco and Polytech are two that come to mind. Both these companies make small arms and ammunition.

My main fear is the Chinese will create an alliance with the Islamic world. China needs the oil and the natural resources of Indonesia and since China could care less about Christianity or Judism and has almost no Jews to strongarm support of Israel, the Muslims are willing to do business.

China can support terrorist organizations like Al Quaida while it continues to buy US assets and steal our technology. Why support terrorists? They wear down the US military and waste the US treasury.

China is running a clever campaign and we all know what they are doing. The problem is the people who run things in the US are addicted to Chinese money.

And just think, we can thank Mr. Integrity himself, Bill Clinton for selling the Chinese sophisticated communications systems. It will become a scary world when China no longer needs the U.S.. While we are spreading are military thin, China is building theirs to become an unstoppable juggernaut. As we speak they are running military practice maneuvers with Russia. I think Thome has a serious point.

I also understand that China is developing a weapon that could wipe out a country's computer networks. That would leave us completely defenseless.

Anyone who wants to accuse "Clinton" of doing too much business with China needs to remember the Carlyle Group and the "US - China Chamber of Commerce"

Poppy Bush and his brother Prescott Jr pose for a picture with a ChiCom buddy

It was Ambassador George Bush Sr. who "opened" China for Dick Nixon, and he did so for his own Criminal Empire's financial benefit.

That was 1973. Clinton was still smoking dope (but not inhaling) at Oxford then.

The big lie the globalists have been telling Americans for years is to get more education because the manufacturing jobs are going to be gone. Now we see computer programming, finance, accounting, and engineering jobs being outsourced overseas.

Unless you want to be a nurse or anyone else that takes care of an aging population, then finding good employment becomes trickier and trickier.

The Bush's and people like them have sold the American worker out at all levels. Now people are even going to India for medical treatment they can't get in the US because it's too expensive here.

US Defense spending: $470 Billion (roughly)

PRC Defense spending: $65 Billion (roughly)

And if you're going to slam CLINTON for selling CHINA comms, why not slam REAGAN for selling CHINA sophisticated Western style main battle tank technology...

And what about the continuous tech transfer today? How many computers/Boeing jets are the Chinese shipping from the US this year?

Lets clear the air, I don't like politicians period. I am a Republican, but I am discusted with the current administration. Nick how you can defend Clinton amazes me. The guy clearly proved he has no integrity. And I can't argue with you on the trade that continues today with China. When you are right, your right. I think both the Dems and Reps are selling this country right out from under us. I can't prove it but I heard we borrowed money from China for Katrina relief. Okay, but if your going to cite partisan anti-CLINTON propaganda, then at least think for yourself, and attack what the Administrations did both previous and after CLINTON. I never said I thought ANY TECH TRANSFER was good, did I? I just said CLINTON wasn't the only one, but the partisans won't tell you that, will they? It didn't start, nor end, with CLINTON. It's been disgusting all along...

CHINESE MBT's can mount Western style gun technology (L7 British designed 105mm gun along with optics and stuff) largely thanks to REAGAN (and CARTER to be honest)...

And today, we're outsourcing our remaining manufacturing jobs to CHINA, they're making our TVs in many cases using the latest digital tech (you can thank WAL-MART for a lot of it)...

Sir, I do think for myself, and I clearly stated that I do not care for the behavior of both parties. Actions speak louder than words and whenever someone takes a shot across the bow on a far lefty, you and Ford jump on it like stink on shit. And that's fine you have that right.
